Tumkur: Three persons, including a woman, were killed on the spot in a collision involving a lorry and a canter on national highway (NH)-48 on Tuesday, July 17 morning.
Lokesh (34), a K R Nagar resident and a couple – Hanumantharaju (40) and Radha (35) – of Ranebennur taluk are the deceased.
The accident took place when the cantor driven by Lokesh collided into the lorry, moving towards Bengaluru from the rear.
A case has been registered with Kallambella police.
