Tumakuru: Former Chief Minister B. S Yediyurappa’s successor B. Y. Vijayendra met Former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G Parameshwara during the election and received his blessings.
Before submission of nomination papers, B. Y. Vijayendra who arrived for the worship of house deity Yadiyuru Siddhalingeshwar, met Dr. G. Parameshwara at the Temple and exchanged greetings.
Vijayendra who contested for the election from Shikaripura Assembly Constituency for the first time, and Dr. G. Parameshwara, the former Deputy Chief Minister, met him by chance and received blessings.
Vijayendra, and Dr. G. Parameshwara met at Koratagere and the fact that he met Vijayendra right after holding a meeting of the Lingayat community has led to intense political debate.
