Tumakuru: Commission allegation, Lokayukta probe insisted

Tumakuru: In a sting operation conducted by a private channel in Tumakuru Madhugiri MLA M. V Veerabhadraiah has been found to have allegedly received commission from contractors. In this regard the voters of Madhugiri Constituency, Veeranna Bin, Eremariyanna Siddapura have requested the Lokayukta to file Suo Moto case.

On Monday April 3 a group of voters of Madhugiri Taluk visited the Lokayukta and requested the Lokayukta to file a Suo Moto case. They alleged that in order to execute public works a commission of Rs. 5 Lakh was demanded and while a lakh was being received from the concerned he was caught in the sting operation.

This video is going viral in private news channels and social media which is proof enough for the act. Hence they insisted that the Lokayukta file a Suo Moto case, investigate the matter and take proper action.

Not once in the history of Madhugiri has such an incident happened. This is an act of treachery on the voters of Madhugiri and hence MLA M. V Veerabhadraiah must seek apology from the voters Madhugiri, insisted Veeranna.

The voters of the constituency Veeranna B. N., Eeramariyanna, Ramananappa, Rajagopal, J. P. Manjunath, Hemanth, Baba Fakruddin, Gangadhar, Navaratnakimar, Shivanna Idihalli, Purishotham, Narayana Gowda, Lokesh, Lakshmi Narayan, T P Manjunath and others were present.
