Tumakuru: KPCC president D. K. Shivakumar, who played an important role in bringing the Congress party to power in the state by winning the highest number of seats in the 2023 elections, visited the Kadasiddeshwara Matha of Somakatte, Nonvinakere Hobali, Tipaturu Taluk on Sunday May 14 after the election results were declared.
On Sunday May 14, D. K. Shivakumar, who visited the Matha along with his family members, consulted with the Sri of the Matha and offered pooja to the deity.
Shivakumar is not visiting the Matha for the first time. He is a devotee of the Matha and even in his troubled times he visits the Matha and seeks the blessings of Sri.
Shivakumar, who is prominent in the CM race, has given a lot of attention to Matah after he became an aspirant for the post of CM.
