Tumakuru: BJP District Unit President Ravi Shankar H. said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold campaign for the BJP candidates of District 11 and Nelamangala Assembly Constituency.
Speaking at a press conference, he said that he will participate in the BJP Workers’ Convention to be held on Friday May 5 at the City’s Junior College Grounds, and said that workers and leaders from 12 constituencies are expected to participate in the Convention.
He said that the Prime Minister, who will arrive at 4.30 pm on May 5, will be in Tumakuru City till 6.00 pm and will canvas for BJP candidates. From 2.00 pm in the afternoon, a cultural programme has been organised by the District BJP Unit.
Public and activists participating in Prime Minister Modi’s programme should be present at the programme venue 2 hours before Modi’s arrival. Public is requested not to bring water bottle and bag from safety point of view.
District 11 candidates and MPs will participate in the programme, he said adding that a large number of BJP workers and women workers are expected to participate in the programme.
