Tumakuru: As there is no proper place to cremate the body at Neelagondanahalli in Kolala Hobli of the Taluk, the family members staged a protest in front of the Gram Panchayat.
The protest was held at Irakasandra Colony in the Panchayat limits as there was no cremation ground for SCs, STs and public crematoriums.
People further said, “In spite of all this, not a single official has come to the spot so far, leading to public outrage. Despite living for nearly 70 years, there is no house to live in and there is no place to cremate the dead,” they lamented.
