Tumakuru: Water Resource Minister Govind Karajol said, “No one else has insulted Babasaheb Ambedkar as much as the Congress party has insulted.
“He was not fielded by the party in the Lok Sabha elections, defeated by conspiracy, and also Constitution was changed during his lifetime. When he died, he was not given a place in Delhi for his cremation, but now they are speaking dramatic words about Ambedkar, he noted.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that the BJP will come to power in the State with an absolute majority by winning 132 seats like a tsunami in the 2023 Assembly elections. He further requested people, “Make BJP win this time in Koratagere Assembly constituency and assured that if people bring the party to power, then the constituency will be taken towards development during that period. Don’t worry about the defeat of Dr. G. Parameshwara, MLA from this constituency, he will be defeated by the his own Congress party,” he said.
