Tumakuru: In a shocking incident a one year boy was killed by her mother. The incident took place near Tippapura Chatra in Madhugiri town district. The mother killed the child by chopping off his hand while he was playing at home and the child died due to severe bleeding and the deceased child has been identified as Krish.
Her mother Shweta, who attempted suicide by slitting her throat, was rushed to a hospital by her neighbours. Shwetha, wife of Shivananda, a resident of Madhugiri, was mentally unstable and had recently returned home after undergoing treatment at Nimans Hospital in Bengaluru. A case has been registered under Madhugiri police station limits and the police are investigating.
