Tumakuru: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa repeated that the Waters Resources Minister M B Patil has got Rs.25 crore kickback in the Upper Bhadra Project of Visveswaraya Water Corporation.
Addressing media persons prior to the Golla (Yadava) conference here on Friday, he challenged that if there are any defects in the evidence that he provided regarding the tender process, he would then be at Patil’s disposal.
“After my allegation that contract has been given to outsiders after collecting the commission, now the government claims that the contract has been withdrawn. This reflects the corrupt governance of the Congress,” he said.
Meanwhile, he refused to comment on Siddaganga Mutt junior seer’s decision on the Lingayat religion issue.
