Bengaluru: Two case workers of Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) were arrested on Monday for forging documents. The police wing of the BDA on Monday arrested them after a fraud they had perpetrated to forge documents and sell 32 sites came to light during an internal audit.According to the police, Ravi Kumar, a case worker with the BDA, and a colleague of his perpetrated the scam.
A case has been registered with the Seshadripuram police. Rakesh Singh, Commissioner, BDA, said the duo had short-circuited the procedure, forged signatures and sold land to vested interests in lieu of pecuniary benefits.
