Bengaluru: The Basavanagudi police have arrested two persons and seized 460 grams of amphetamine drug worth Rs 7 lakh from them.
The police have identified the arrested persons as Abdul Rahman (31) and Barkath (22) from Shivajinagar in Bengaluru. The police said the amphetamine is a potent central nervous system stimulant and the duo was caught while waiting for their clients to deliver the drug.
The police said the arrested persons used to sell the substance to college students and software engineers. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
