Bengaluru is known for its heavy traffic and protracted gridlocks. People are constantly complaining about the terrible traffic and the lack of public transportation. Many rely on cab aggregators such as Ola and Uber and take private taxis as a result. When selecting a taxi aggregator, many individuals look at affordability and convenience, and they usually compare costs across the two apps before making a reservation. A ride-hailing user recently revealed that he used both apps to book a cab and was surprised to see that the driver was the same for both trips.
Sharing the event on X, he asked how it could have happened. “Got the same ride on both Ola and Uber. How’s this even possible?,” Shek wrote on the microblogging website alongside a screenshot. The screengrab shows the booking screen for both Ola and Uber, with driver Ananda S arriving in his White Toyota Etios to pick up the customer. “Update, I took the cab. Ananda did show up and I didn’t even have to ask him to switch on the AC. Lucky indeed,” the user wrote in the comments section.
