Bengaluru: The United Forum of Bank Union (UFBU), an umbrella body of nine bank unions, called for a two-day strike by bank employees in Bengaluru in response to the announcement of the privatization of two public sector banks and one insurance company.
The protesters gathered near the SBM office. Customers of the banks are facing inconvenience because of the two-day strike of the bank employees.
Anti-people, anti-labor policies of the union government were also criticized by the protesters.
