ULB voting starts across Karnataka

Bengaluru: Voting for the various Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) started across the state. The by-election polling for the two BBMP wards in Bengaluru too are in progress.

According to the state election commission authorities, no EVM glitches have been reported till now. “The voting is progressing peacefully across the state,” informed authorities.

“A total of 61 Urban Local Bodies are going for polls. Voting is in progress in 1,296 wards of the state. Over 4,360 candidates are in the fray. The counting is to be held on May 31,” informed authorities.

In 30 wards, candidates are elected unopposed.
