Bengaluru: A techie, who has been unemployed for some time now, murdered his two children as he claims they were not listening to him. The kids were aged one and three years old respectively.
The incident has been reported from Akshayanagar under the Hulimavu police station limits.
According to the police, the 35-year-old accused techie (name withheld) murdered his two children, both of whom are girls.
Police sources added that even the accused’s wife is a techie. “The husband has not been working for the past few months. He was at home. On Friday, he murdered his kids. The incident came to light when the wife returned from duty late in the evening,” police said.
The police have detained the techie in this connection, who prima facie has been found to be mentally ill.
