Bengaluru: On Sunday September 5, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman laid the foundation for the Income Tax Department’s new office building in Bengaluru. According to the officials, this office which would be one of its kind, is oriented to harness maximum natural lighting and GRIHA rating IV compliant.
Gardening and dual plumbing will both use recycled water. According to officials, the Central Air Cleaning system will include a magnetic filter and UV-Ray Sterilisation, and the building will be built by the Central Public Works Department’s Bengaluru Project Circle.
The building will include a unique public relations office to address issues on a priority basis, as well as a taxpayer waiting lounge.
It also contains Aaykar Seva Kendra, which provides taxpayer services in a hassle-free manner. According to officials, the building’s design and space arrangement provide a pleasant working environment for Income Tax Department officers and staff.
