Bengaluru: Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje paid a visit to the Sabarimala Sri Ayyappa Swamy Temple in Kerala during the Irumudi rituals. The temple is open for a limited period, from November 16 to 27, for the Mandal Pooja Mahotsavam. Minister Shobha Karandlaje, dressed in black, garlanded Ayyappa Swamy and climbed the eighteen steps with an Irumudi to seek the blessings of Sri Ayyappa Swamy. The Sabarimala temple is a significant pilgrimage site, and devotees from various regions participate in the rituals during the specified period.
