Bengaluru: In a twist, Special Public Prosecutor Shyamsundar informed the Karnataka High Court on Thursday that Vidwath, who was being treated in Mallya Hospital after a deadly attack by MLA Harris’s son Mohammed Nalapad and gang, was sent to home owing to the pressure put by the doctors.
“The doctor who was treating Vidwath started behaving strangely since February 25. They used to shout at the nursing staff that was looking after the patient,” Shyamsundar quoted the observation of a family member of Vidwath.
The senior SPP said that he was shocked to see the medical sheet’s annexure which was attached to the bail petition of Nalapad submitted to the High Court. Medical Documents are very important and they cannot be disclosed like that, he said.
“Harris has uploaded 5 pages of medical reports of Vidhwath in social media. It intends to destroy the evidence. The medical reports can be given only to the patient or his nearest relatives. Even the investigating officers have to submit a legal petition for the reports,” said the SPP.
He requested not to provide any documents to others until the end of the investigation.
