Mysuru: Two blind students from Mysuru have won hearts and made the city proud with their outstanding performance in the SSLC examinations.
Jahnavi H.K., a student of Ranga Rao Memorial School for the Differently Abled, scored an impressive 566 out of 625. Born blind, Jahnavi is the daughter of Kumar and Nandini, a teacher at her school. Modest about her achievement, Jahnavi shared, “I studied for just two hours a day and didn’t expect this score.” Her father expressed immense pride, highlighting her passion and comfort with digital devices, calling her a “hardworking and determined girl.”
Another success story comes from Mohith Gowda K.H., a student of the government school for the deaf and blind in Tilak Nagar, who secured 511 marks. Mohith, who also lost his sight at birth and hails from Pandavapura taluk in Mandya, aims to continue his education in the humanities stream. Notably, all five students from his school cleared the exam this year.
Their determination and achievements serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration for many. These young achievers have shown that with the right support and self-belief, no challenge is insurmountable.
