VTU to hold summit on Dec 11

Bengaluru: Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) will organise a summit of presidents, chairmen and management members of various affiliated and autonomous colleges of VTU on December 11 in Bengaluru.

The objective of the summit is to promote synergistic co-operation among the colleges to establish hi-tech research programmes, inter-disciplinary programmes and knowledge infrastructure.

Governor and VTU Chancellor Vajubhai R. Vala will inaugurate the summit. Minister for Higher Education and Pro-Chancellor of VTU Basavaraj Rayareddi will grace the occasion. Jawaid Akhtar, Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Higher Education; S.A. Kori, Executive Director, Karnataka State Higher Education Council; H.U. Talawar, Director, Technical Education; and Karisiddappa, Vice-Chancellor of VTU will participate in the summit.
