Bengaluru: After holding pre-budget meeting with farmer leaders and representatives on Saturday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that waiver of entire crop loans would be difficult.
Speaking to reporters CM however, said that he would try his best to incorporate some of the demands of the farmers in the budget this year.
The farmer representatives, including Kadidal Shamanna and others, submitted a representation with 68 demands, including scientific pricing, fixing of price for sugarcane, resolving the Kalasa Banduri issue, implementation of G S Paramashivaiah report, among others.
