Bengaluru: Political rivalry between KPCC president DK Shivakumar and water resources minister Ramesh Jarakiholi is well known. Jarakiholi quit the Congress party after raising his voice against DKShi and his close aide Lakshmi Hebbalkar, an MLA from Belagavi district. After joining the BJP, he wanted the water resources department to teach a lesson to DKShi. He also pressurized the CM BS Yediyurappa to allow him the government bungalow in which DKShi was staying.

Now DKShi and Ramesh Jarakiholi have become neighbors. Ramesh Jarakiholi bought a new house next to DKShi’s house in Sadashivanagar. The house warming program was held on Friday in which several BJP leaders participated. DKShi was not invited.

There is no clarity as to why Ramesh Jarakiholi moved to Sadashivanagar. But sources indicate that Ramesh Jarakiholi wanted to show DKShi that he can also match him in both money and political power.
