Bengaluru: The voice clip claimed to be that of State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa, trying to fish a JDS MLA has stirred up a controversy in the state. In a statement, openly establishes that the BJP has been angling to fish out the opposition MLAs, BJP Leader CT Ravi has said that ‘dialogues’ are an integral part of politics.
Responding to the ongoing controversy of ‘operation Kamala’ in the state, Ravi said that there can be no politics without talks and that the BJP had tried to fish out some big leaders from the opposition parties as well.
A voice clip of a man, claimed to BSY talking to JDS MLA Naganagowda’s son Sharanagouda, luring him of cash and ministerial post was released by Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy recently, to prove that the BJP was making all efforts to topple the coalition government at the state.
BSY, who in a way admitted to have had the conversation clarified that the conversation was edited according to the convenience of the JDS and that full conversation was hidden.
Following the turmoil created by the tape, the Congress party, led by Siddaramaiah met the Speaker and lodged a complaint, on Monday and demanded the ouster of four rebel MLAs.
