Bengaluru: Indian Cricketer Rahul Dravid is known for humility and self-perseverance. He has a huge fan following and has inspired several budding young cricketers. Looks like now one of the most recognisable WWE superstars John Cena too is humbled by Karnataka’s “The Wall” Rahul Dravid.

John Cena on December 10, after the WWE Live Event in New Delhi shared an inspirational post of Rahul Dravid.

John Cena shared with the post, a photo of Dravid in India colours on Instagram, “You do not play for revenge. You play for respect and pride.” The post has been widely shared and appreciated by the fans on social media. John Cena is one of the famous WWE stars and his following in India is unparalleled.

Rahul Dravid who hails from Karnataka, was known for his calmness both on and off the field. He captained India from 2005 to 2007 and has been regarded as a gentleman and the face of the game. He is also considered as one of the best batsmen of the generation.

The 44-year-old played 164 tests for India. He also represented the country in 344 ODIs and one T20 International. He is the second highest run-scorer for India in test cricket with 13288 runs. He also has 10889 runs in ODIs.

Born in a Marathi family and brought up in Bangalore, he started playing cricket at the age of 12 and later represented Karnataka at the under-15, under-17 and under-19 levels.
