Bengaluru: Former CM H D Kumaraswamy asked RSS leader from the Dakshina Kannada district, Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat not to experiment with his Hindutva politics in Ramanagara under the guise of opposing the proposed Jesus Christ statue in Harobele near Kanakapura.
Speaking to reporters in the city, he stated that he will not allow Bhat to convert Ramanagar into “Ravananagar”.
“Bhat is trying to poison the district through the Christ statue issue. It is dangerous,” he said.
“Who permitted Bhat to carry out an RSS procession in Ramanagar? They are trying to provoke minorities to create a vote bank controversy here. But all are united here,” he said.
