A 40-year-old woman, Minu Singh, has filed a complaint with Bellandur police after she witnessed a man throwing stones at street dogs near her apartment in Ibbalur on the morning of December 3. Singh, who heard loud barking from the backyard of a gym located in the basement of her apartment, went to investigate and found the stranger attacking the dogs.
According to Singh’s complaint, the man, wearing a black jacket and half pants, was pelting stones at the animals. When Singh confronted him and asked why he was hurting the dogs, he verbally abused her and advanced towards her. Fearing for her safety, Singh raised an alarm, which caused the man to flee the scene.
The police have since collected CCTV footage from the apartment building and surrounding areas to identify and track down the suspect. Investigations are ongoing.
