Bengaluru: General public beat up a youth for allegedly misbehaving with a co-passenger inside the metro coach, near Orion Mall of the city on Tuesday night.
According to the eyewitnesses, a youth from Nelamangala allegedly touched a female passenger who got into the Metro at Majestic to reach World Trade Center in Rajajinagar in the green line. She had a heated verbal exchange with the youth. Near Orion Mall, the youth tried to flee. The other passengers who saw him launch an escape bid, caught him and bashed him up.
No police complaint has been registered in this regard. It is said that the youth is from Nelamangala and is working for a private firm.
