Bengaluru: All he said was that he cannot recharge a customer’s mobile phone. This led to the brutal killing of 29-year-old Mohommed Nasiruddin alias Nasir, a physically challenged youth, who lived at Kudlu Gate.

Nasir, son of a retired KSRP Constable was running a mobile recharge shop on KEB Road at Venkateshwara Layout.

At about 1.30 pm, when Nasir had pulled down the shutters to go back home, a local resident named Aman came over to him and asked for a mobile recharge.

However, Nasir is said to have refused stating that he was returning home.

When Nasir started his bike to leave the spot, an upset Aman took a knife and stabbed him repeatedly and fled.

Locals heard Nasir screaming and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

Madiwala police, who were alerted about the incident, nabbed Aman, who is also the son of a police constable.

Preliminary police investigations revealed that Nasir and Aman had a financial dispute for the last few months and it led to the murder.
