Sangareddy: Two young men from Bidar, Sayyed Mohammad (25) and Sheik Nadhiyal, were arrested on September 6 for snatching a gold chain from a woman in Khaleelpur village, Nyalkal mandal.
The incident occurred while Kuru Rukmini (55) and her husband Sangappa were traveling on their two-wheeler. The accused attacked Rukmini and stole her gold chain before fleeing. The police arrested the suspects at Rukmapur crossroad on Sunday.
Mohammad, employed at a private company, and Nadhiyal, a B-Pharmacy student, were found in possession of the stolen 3.5 tulas of gold chain and a Pulsar bike. They have been sent to remand.
