The Seismic Intensity map indicates that the earthquake’s intensity was low, with tremors potentially felt up to a radial distance of 30-40 kilometers from the epicenter. The area falls within Seismic Zone II, known for its low risk of earthquake damage. Additionally, the tectonic map reveals that the epicenter is free from significant structural discontinuities.
KSNDMC has reassured the community that there is no need to panic, as the observed intensity is not destructive. The earthquake, while noticeable, is unlikely to cause any significant damage. The authorities continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates if necessary.
