Mangaluru: Former MLC and Congress Leader Ivan D’Souza came down heavily on BJP for politicising colour Saffron.

Further, Ivan said, “if Bajrang Dal members are hurt due to my words during the TV debate, I apologise.” He added and regretted the fact that BJP was politicising the colour saffron. Saffron while being holy is also one of the colours in our national flag, he noted and added that bishops too use saffron colour.
