Chikkamagaluru: College Student Drowns at Kamenahalli Falls After Hitting Boulder

Chikkamagaluru: An 18-year-old college student tragically drowned at Kamenahalli Falls after striking his head on a boulder while swimming.

The deceased, Chethan, was a student at Government Polytechnic College, Chikkamagaluru. With their lecturer on leave, he and his friends decided to visit the falls. While diving into the water, he hit his head on a submerged rock, leading to his fatal accident.

Fire brigade personnel later retrieved his body, and the Chikkamagaluru Rural Police have registered a case for further investigation.
