Chikkamagaluru Police Seize 10.4 kg Ganja, Arrest Two

In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, the Chikkamagaluru CEN Crime Police arrested two individuals for illegally transporting marijuana. The police seized 10.4 kg of ganja worth ₹2 lakh, along with a scooty and a mobile phone used in the crime.
The accused, Wasim Pasha and Nazima, both residents of Santhe Maidan Tamil Colony, were apprehended on Tuesday night.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the area near Dantaramakki Cross, a key route connecting Deepa Nursing Home to the bypass road. During the operation, officers intercepted the duo’s scooty and found the contraband hidden inside.
A case has been registered at the CEN Crime Police Station, and investigations are ongoing to trace the supply network.
