Chikkamagaluru: A 19-year-old youth was killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles at Nariguddanahalli Circle in Chikkamagaluru. The tragic accident, which was captured on CCTV, has once again highlighted the importance of wearing helmets while riding.

The deceased has been identified as Charan, who was riding a newly purchased Royal Enfield Bullet at the time of the accident.

Fatal head injuries

According to police, Charan was not wearing a helmet when the collision occurred. The impact of the crash caused him to suffer severe head injuries, resulting in his death.

The CCTV footage shows the two motorcycles colliding head-on at the junction before both riders were thrown onto the road.
