A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Salumara village near Bhuvanakote, Koppa taluk of Chikkamagaluru district, where an 18-year-old youth allegedly died by suicide after battling trauma from a past accident.
The deceased, identified as Vighnesh, was a first-year ITI student studying in Koppa town. Four years ago, Vighnesh had been involved in a severe accident, resulting in the loss of 17 of his teeth. Since the mishap, he had been undergoing continuous medical treatments and hospital visits, which reportedly took a toll on his mental health.
Left alone at home and struggling with his condition, Vighnesh took the drastic step of ending his life by hanging. His sudden and untimely death has plunged his family into deep grief.
Local authorities have registered a case at Jayapura police station and are investigating the matter further.
