Chitradurga: Farmers in the district are revolutionizing chrysanthemum cultivation by installing LED bulbs in their fields, ensuring year-round production and enhanced yields. Approximately 300 LED bulbs per acre are used, particularly during winter, to protect the plants from diseases and temperature fluctuations.

- Cent Yellow chrysanthemum is now cultivated three times a year, compared to the traditional single harvest during Deepavali and Dasara.
