
Chitradurga: Mystery Surrounds Nagasadhu Naganatha Maharaj’s Death
Deputy Commissioner T. Venkatesh has clarified that Nagasadhu Naganatha Maharaj from Chitradurga was not among the victims of the recent Kumbh Mela stampede in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Instead, his lifeless body was discovered at Jhansi railway station, nearly 500 km away from the event site.
Authorities found Maharaj’s photographs displayed on the public notice board at Jhansi railway station. His identity was traced back to Chitradurga after officials found that he had registered his address as Banjara Gurupeeta in the district. A public announcement has urged anyone familiar with him to reach out to railway station authorities for further information.
The Deputy Commissioner also stated that he is coordinating with railway officials regarding the situation. Currently, Maharaj’s mortal remains have been preserved at a hospital mortuary in Jhansi. Steps are being taken to transport his body back to Chitradurga for further proceedings.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and officials are expected to investigate the events leading up to his demise. The news has left many followers and residents seeking answers about the mysterious incident.
