Karwar: A 28-year-old private TV channel reporter was killed after his bike hit a tree while returning home here near Gundur in Hanagal taluk of Haveri district on January 13.
Mounesh Pothraj who was working as reporter at Suddi TV in Sirsi is the deceased.
On Saturday, Mounesh covered a state convention in Sirsi and was returning home when the mishap took place.
Hanagal police have visited the spot and a case has been registered.
