Karwar: In a tragic incident, a 25-year-old woman from Chhattisgarh died on the spot after her cycle went off the road and collided with a roadside tree near Beerampali in the taluk.
Devika Sanjay Vaswani was riding her sports bicycle to Akoda from her Hidden Valley home stay in Beerampali when the accident happened. On the way, she lost control of the bike, which went off the road and crashed into a tree, informed the police.
Devika suffered a grievous head injury and bled to death a while later. A case has been registered by the Dandeli Rural Police Department.
