Karwar: Claiming that the coalition government at the state has been making false allegations on BJP leaders including Union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde, BJP’s Lok Sabha Media Convener Nagaraj Nayak has said that a conspiracy is on to target the BJP leaders.

Addressing a news conference, Nayak said that the coalition government is scared of defeat and is hence misusing its powers to tarnish the image of the BJP.

“Old incidents are being recalled and cases are being registered against the BJP members by the coalition government, ” he said adding that during the last Assembly Elections, fake cases pertaining to provocative speeches were lodged against Ananth Kumar Hegde.

As many as 40 BJP members were booked in Chandavara clashes, 11 in Magodu case, 300 in Kumta and 200 in Sirsi bundh. This clearly shows that attempts are being made to keep BJP members and leaders away from election works.
