Sirsi: Income tax sleuths conducted raids on the residence of Congress legislator Bheemanna Naik on May 1.
A team of eight officials from the Income Tax Department in Hubballi accompanied by police personnel raided the MLA’s residence located in Ayyappa Nagar of the city on Tuesday night. They were seen verifying the documents related to financial transactions.
Incumbent MLA Bheemanna Naik is the Congress candidate from Sirsi-Siddapur constituency of Uttara Kannada district.
