Karwar: Former Minister Anand Asnotikar is not the JD (S) candidate from Karwar – Ankola constituency. He is not even in touch with the office-bearers here,” said JD (S) Taluk Unit President Ajit Pokale.
Addressing a press conference here in the City on Friday April 7, he said, “If the party announces Anand Asnotikar as the candidate, we will work for him.”
“During the Pancharatna Yatra, when Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy came to Kumta, we met him and spoke to him. It doesn’t matter if a candidate is not fielded in Karwar – Ankola Constituency. Some people have been told not to be given tickets and they have agreed,” he said.
