Karwar: A person who was walking after getting off the bus collapsed on the road and died on Wednesday April 19 at Dinkara Desai Road in Ankola Town.
Mahabaleshwara G. Nambiar (61) died unfortunately and he was a resident near Gokarna Car Street. It is said that he used to come to the private hospital in Ankola for dialysis and other treatments due to his illness.
Similarly, on the day too, he got down to Ankola by bus from Gokarna, and while walking to the hospital, he collapsed in the middle of the road and died on the spot.
After receiving information from the public, Ankola Police Station H. C. Diwakar visited the spot.
