Karwar: Ankola Growers’ Committee President Nagaraja Naik said that mango fair, seminar and demonstration on mango will be held on Tuesday June 6 at G. C. College Ground.
He informed about this in a press conference called at a private hotel in the Town. Last year, the mango fair in Ankola was successful and the mangoes here have received demands from foreign countries. Especially the Kari Ishadi mango fruit here has got world recognition with G-tag. This time a seminar on mango cultivation has been arranged in the mango fair and a demonstration has been organised on mango fruit conservation.
Ankola Karwar MLA Satish Sail, Minister Mankala Vaidya, Harpanahalli, MLA Lata Mallikarjuna, and Kumata MLA Dinakara Shetty will be present at the Mango fair.
Dharawad Horticulture Department Deputy Director B. P Satish, and Sirsi Agricultural Science Center K. V Chandan will be present.
