Karwar: Sri Gangadharendra Saraswathi Mahaswamiji, the Seer of Sonda Swarnavalli Maha Samsthan, has expressed grief over the passing away of Siddeshwara Swamiji of Jnana Yogaashrama, Vijayapura.
“Siddheshwara, who instilled a sense of devotion in the minds of the devotees through his meaningful discourses, left us on the Vaikunta Ekadashi day of the Shukla Paksha of Uttarayana, which shows that he was a great soul. He is also memorable. We met Siddheshwar Swamiji once in the Hindu Dharma Sabha, the Bhagavad Gita Abhiyan at Haliyal. We also visited his Jnana Yoga Ashram, he recollected.
When we offered a shawl during our visit, he refused. Swarnavalli, however, recalled that he accepted the book when he was given the same.
