Karwar: Police arrested two persons for posting provocative and communally sensitive messages as WhatsApp status.
The accused have been identified as Ghaus Azam Mahmood and Mehboob Saab of Marathikoppa. According to police, the two are accused of posting derogatory WhatsApp statuses that targetted other communities.
They duo have been produced before the Executive Magistrate and have been remanded to judicial custody.
