Karwar: A police constable attached to the central paramilitary force deputed on election duty in Karnataka is absconding from Sirsi.
Ganesh Karat, a resident of Maharashtra went missing from Dasanakoppa check-post in Sirsi taluk of Uttara Kannada district.
Efforts are on to trace the missing constable though the exact reasons behind his sudden disappearance are not known.
The Banavasi police visited the spot and are investigating further.
