Kasargod: Voting progresses at a slow pace in the Kasargod Lok Sabha constituency in the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Voting was delayed for a few hours due to defective voting machines.

People had queued up in the polling booths even before the voting began but the voters were frustrated when the voting machines were not working. Inexperienced polling booth staff were struggling to repair the machine.

Chevaru, Manjeshwara, Mangalpady, Mogral Puttur and few other places in Kasargod voting was delayed due to VVPAT issue.

LDF Lok Sabha Candidate from Kasargod K P Sathishchandran voted in Vallikunu polling booth of Trikkaripur.
