Kasargod: A gruesome collision between cars claimed one life and left four injured at Pucchakkad of Pallikkara of Kasargod, on June 1.
It is said that the driver of one of the cars lost control over the vehicle and steered into another car, which was parked on the other side of the road.
Ajmal Amrose (21) of Charkkala 5th mile lost his life in the mishap while other passengers in the car Rashid, Amanulla, Juraid, Sahad were injured and were admitted to a hospital in Mangalore.
The accident took place around 1.30 am, today June 1. Ajmal was travelling in a Toyota Innova car, which lost control and collided against another car parked at the road side and toppled over.
The dead body was taken to Kasagod General Hospital mortuary, which would be handed over to the relatives after the post mortem.
Bekal police have registered the case.
