Kasargod: A distressing incident occurred as two laborers lost their lives due to a compound wall collapse while excavating a pit for pipeline installation on Market Road on Tuesday evening. Two others sustained injuries.
The individuals who lost their lives are Lakshmappa (42) and M Basaiah (40). Two individuals trapped under the debris during the collapse of a compound wall, which occurred while excavating a pit for pipeline installation, were rescued and taken to a hospital. Local residents and the police were involved in the rescue efforts, but unfortunately, two fatalities occurred. Currently, no additional information is available.
